Tummy Time

So this is how we feel about tummy time...

Yeah, Kayleigh is not a fan. She either screams until we rescue her or she just closes her eyes and tries to go to sleep. Never and I mean never does she try to do the things she supposed to...like try to push up, roll over or even try to play with her toys. She must be my child because she is so stubborn that she won't even try to enjoy tummy time.

Despite her disdain for tummy time, she is still learning new things. She loves to sit up against the couch or her boppy and watch everything around her. She is also cooing and smiling all the time. I will include a video Brett took where you can see a little smiling, but apparently Brett was distracted by her cuteness and wasn't looking at what he was actually filming. Enjoy nonetheless. The other picture above is on our way to the Giants vs Braves game. Unfortunately the Braves lost, but we had fun anyway. We bought Kayleigh this snuggly outfit just for going to the games and she was nice and toasty the whole time! She wore her Braves hat too that Uncle Jared bought for her. I will have to get pictures from Nicole and post those later. (By the way, don't you love her expressions in these? She can give some looks! Oh goodness, pray for us as she gets older!)

Speaking of Aunt Nicole, we enjoyed having her for two weeks and Kayleigh, Brett and I miss her!! Below is Kayleigh's goodbye hug before we headed off to the airport. We can't wait to see Nicole again...next time she will have a new baby cousin for Kayleigh! We are so excited!

We also had a nice visit with Rachel...on webcam! It was so awesome to see her and talk all the way in China! Kayleigh and I can't wait for her to come back for another visit! Keep her in your prayers during the Olympics. And about the Olympics...I just found out that a guy I knew in college is in the Olympics! I will definitely have to watch diving to root for him!

Well, I will post more pictures soon since Nicole is way better about remembering to take them than I am (not to mention actually better at taking them too). Enjoy the video! We will work on our photo taking skills and video skills too. In the meantime, bear with us! :)

Love from the Bonner's!

Thanks for all the cute pictures and comments about our sweetie. She is so adorable. Some of those looks look just like Brett!! Your ramblings were cute. It sure is a nice way to keep us all updated on what she is doing. I am so glad Nicole got to come out for a while. I know that helped break up the "missing Home" and your Mom will be out soon!!!

Love You all!!!! Hugs and kisses all around, even Lily!!!
Love, Papa and Linda

Oh, by the way, I used to take a lot of walks with the boys when they were babies. In the stroller some, but mostly in a pack so we could explore. Babies love fresh air and watching the wind in the trees and seeing birds and butterflies. It's good for them, too!!!! And Mommy gets exercise!
