Everything changes

Well, it seems as soon as I post something, it changes! I have decided to go back to work. They are being extremely flexible with me working around Brett's schedule, and I got a raise!! I will still only be in the office 1 or 2 days a week and working only around 20 hours a week, but I think I will enjoy getting out of the house. And of course, Brett is so excited to have Daddy/Daughter time every week! And...cloth diapering is down the tubes, for now anyway. Kayleigh has a super bad diaper rash, so until that's all healed up, she is back in Pampers.

We had a nice week, even though it was Brett's long week at work. We had some friends over Wednesday for dinner. We walked to the park and ended up hanging out with all our friends in the neighborhood. A few more people came over for dessert. I made a good southern meal for our California friends...fried chicken, macaroni & cheese, and corn on the cob. It was delicious! I also had a few doctor's appointments this week and will be having outpatient surgery on the 28th of the month. It should be a pretty easy procedure, but hopefully healing will go better than the first time around. Thankfully, Nicole will be visiting. Little does she know, she's going to have to play nurse when she comes! We are so excited for her visit. She will be here a couple of weeks while Jared is at a CG school in Texas. I can't wait to shop and have girl time!

Well, I'm going to get back to playing with Kayleigh and cooking dinner to take to the station for Brett! I hope everyone is doing well...and I promise I will post new pictures of Kayleigh soon! I'm the worst about taking pictures even though I know I'm going to regret it later when she's all grown up!
