Pictures of June

I'm back! We have been super busy, so blogging as been on the backburner. We have had company four weekends and the one weekend we didn't have guests, we took an anniversary trip to Monterey! This pregnant momma is EXHAUSTED! We are definitely lying low in July and resting up for #2's arrival. It was so nice to have everyone visit and unfortunately we were so busy enjoying their company that I didn't take a single picture!

Grandmommie came first and Kayleigh loved every second with her Great-Grandmommie. We took her to our church, the local farmer's market and to the playground. It was so nice to just relax and enjoy her visit.

The next weekend we took off to Monterey, CA for our anniversary trip. I can't believe we have been married 3 years...well with #2 on the way maybe it seems like it has been longer than 3! :) We had such an awesome time. We drove the 17 Mile Drive through Pebble Beach which was beautiful! We walked all over Monterey, visited the aquarium, Cannery Row, saw the CG station, had some awesome Clam Chowder and really enjoyed the weekend!

The next weekend Lesa came to visit and get her Kayleigh fix. Brett had to work part of the weekend but we got lots done around the house.

The next week (on our anniversary in fact) my mom came! I was so glad to spend some time with her and we got so much done! We did some crafting and got Kayleigh's room all ready for the new baby. We washed 4 loads of laundry and got the newborn clothes hung up and put into the dresser. This little girl will definitely have no shortage of baby clothes! We could only fit the clothes from 0 to 3 months! The rest we had to keep in storage containers. She has a whole drawer full of onsies!! I feel much better now that we are pretty much ready for #2 to arrive. Brett had to work the weekend again so it was really nice to have mom here. Kayleigh s usual was attached to mom's hip. She loves her Nana and it is so funny how alike they are. I keep telling mom to send a picture of herself at that age because they look a lot alike. She definitely takes after Brett but the older she gets, the more she looks like Mom. We were sad taking Mom to the airport and Kayleigh even cried as she got out of the car and walked into the airport. It was heartbreaking, but I know she'll be back soon for the arrival with #2 and Dad will be coming too! Brett and I can't wait! Brett and Dad are already talking smack about the tennis competitions and motorcycle riding. :)

Our last visitors were Brett's cousin Damien, his wife Monica and their son Ethan. Damien is in the marines and stationed in San Diego. They came up to see the city, so we did the touristy things in the city on Friday and went to the Giant's game on Saturday during the day. We were so exhausted that we stayed home and skipped fireworks that night. Kayleigh went two days in a row with no nap so we all needed a break. Yesterday after church, we spent the whole day relaxing! It was so nice, but now I'm back to the grind...cleaning house, working from home and keeping up with Kayleigh.

The last picture is at 33 weeks. I can't believe I only have a little more than 6 weeks until my due date! I'm ready to meet her but definitely not ready to go back to the newborn routine. I will definitely try to enjoy sleeping for the next few weeks.

Well, we hope everyone is doing well! We miss you and love you all!

You look great! I'm 6 weeks behind you and bigger than you. If you have a secret, please share it!

Ha! My secret is having a 14 month old that I have to chase after all day every day! :) Trust me, I am much smaller this time than with Kayleigh. I'm just too busy to snack and take naps like I did the first time. Oh and daily trips to the playground help too. ;)
