I think Brett got his love of animals from his Papa Jack. Apparently Kayleigh did too. :) When we were in Red Bluff for Thanksgiving, Kayleigh got to pet and feed all the animals. She was in love with the cat.
We had a great Thanksgiving. It is really nice to be so close to family. The food was delicious. I'm still dreaming of some of it and I even got a delicious recipe from Lesa for the black bottom pie she made. So delicous! Brett, Campbell and I got up at 3:45 to Black Friday shop with Renee. It was so much fun and we got a lot of great deals. Thanks Renee for going with us! Randy, Lesa, Lee, Syndey and Kayleigh met us a little later and we did some more shopping.
We've been busy celebrating the holidays and decorating the house. We've only had a few broken ornaments. :) Our neighbors, Lyndsay and her little girl Maddy, came over this week and we made some delicious cookies. Kayleigh did great helping me cut the cookies and frost them though I think she ate more frosting than she put on the cookies. The girls are growing so fast and keeping me busy!
